As of 18 minutes ago I have 95 days left in Korea. I can tell you right now that I'm NOT the same person I was before I came here. Before I came to Korea I think I was a lot more naive than I am now. Now I'm a more serious (less happy) individual that will probably be a lot more cynical about anything, everything, and everyone. I don't really know if that is because of Korea or because of the people I met here. Whatever it was, I'll have to see how that affects my life when I go back to South Africa.
So far the plan is as follows:
- Go home and visit the family.
- Have meeting with my school and pay my first installment.
- Find an apartment in Cape Town.
- Find a job so that I can actually eat. I guess not having enough money for extravagant (read: lots of) food will make me super hot/skinny at my sister's wedding.
- Work hard, study hard!
- Save as much money as possible.
- Go to America for my road trip or for work.. We'll see what happens. If I don't make enough money I'll just put America off until I do have enough money to go. It's not as if I'm in a rush to get there anymore.
After that I'm not sure what will happen or what I will do. My plans never work out the way I want them to, so I'm not getting attached to any of the above mentioned plans. Except of course for the first six..
