Here's something to think about:
why don't we say what we mean? - just think how obviously easier everything would be if people just spoke to each other. To date, one of my best days was when my sister and I went to visit two friends of my sister's. It was so interesting! We got all philosophical and everything around a bottle of red wine. We spoke till 5 in the morning and holy shit I can't concentrate cos there's a loud Spanish speaking dude right across from me in the damn library (I love Spain..)
anyway, as I was saying..
We spoke until 5 in the morning, and being the cute guys that they are, they refused to let us drive home at that time of the morning. The point I'm trying to make, is that before I spent 6 hours talking to them, I didn't really know them, and now I do. That's one big NO for technology. I mean, here I am, speaking to someone (I hope) I don't even know (maybe) while I rather wouldv'e spoken to you face to face. People are living past each other and that makes me kinda sad in a way. Do you have any idea how many interesting people is out there? Everyone is different, and that is so exciting! People just don't go to the trouble to get to know one another anymore.
Now the whole debacle is, how to go about it these days.. These days you go to a club (with people you know), speak to people (you can't hear), see people (you would like to know), and then go home (not knowing them). Wtf.
I'm so philosophical today it is SCARY. As you can see, it is my second post for the day.. I am a SAD human being. Preaching about how technology is depriving us of so many things, yet, if you take away my e-mail I'll die! (this coming from someone that lives in Klawer..funny)
I have to do some actual work now, so I'll speak to you again, only if I have something to say that is!
